I wouldn't blame the bran cereal and skim milk... unless you were eating m quantities. A one pound weight gain can be caused by several things. One is retention of fluids... a little too much salt in your diet can cause that. Don't omit salt completely. It will cause you to get dizzy and possibly p out if you do. A little salt is a good thing. Too much will make you 'puffy'. Your menstrual cycle can also add temporary weight gain.
