What does the ball ornaments on the Christmas tree symbolize?
The Christmas tree represents the tree in the Garden of Eden. It used to be put up on December 24th - Christmas Eve - which was counted as the feast of Adam and Eve. The ball ornaments represent the fruit on the tree (Early trees had real fruit).
