Stall rest ideas for my miserable horse?

ugh its a shame he doesn't like toys but maybe if you spend time with him, just brush him in his stall and talk to him, tell him about your day and just stroke him. It sounds silly but he'd probably enjoy your company and just the sound of your voice. When my horse was on stall rest, she was a miserable brat and she went through those likit toys like toilet paper. I even called my friends or mom and would talk to them in her stall. I bought a braiding book and perfected different braids in her mane and tail. :) hope I helped.
